Overheard my neighbor say she uses a garden hose to clean her grill grates
She just cranks up the gas, lets it burn off the gunk, then sprays it down while it's still hot. I spent $30 on a brass brush last month and it barely works. Has anyone tried this hose method or am I about to warp my grates?

That hose trick actually blew my mind too since I was a hardcore brush believer until last weekend.
