That $30 knee pad mat was a complete waste in my backyard...
I dropped $30 on one of those foam knee pad mats for working on my garden beds, figured it would save my knees after a few hours. First time using it the foam just flattened out and I could feel every pebble underneath after about 20 minutes. Anybody found a knee pad setup that actually holds up for a full afternoon of weeding and planting?

Grabbed a cheap foam one and it turned into a permanent backyard sponge after one rain.

Yeah those cheap foam ones are basically garbage after a few uses. I grabbed a thick rubber kneeling pad from the hardware store that has those little raised bumps on the bottom, cost about the same but the rubber doesnt flatten out like foam does. Worked for me all last spring and still going strong, just give it a good shake and hose off when it gets muddy.
