Am I the only one who regrets dropping $400 on those custom orthotic insoles?

I paid $400 for custom orthotic insoles from a podiatrist and they hurt my feet worse than the $20 drugstore ones I was using before, anyone else have a similar experience with expensive foot stuff?

Hold up, four hundred bucks and they hurt worse? That is seriously messed up. I would be furious if I paid that kind of money and got pain in return. Those drugstore ones might not be fancy, but at least they don't make you limp.

Wait, did you ever try those cheapo wooden sandals from the 90s? I had a pair that looked like clogs from a gas station. They cost like eight bucks and I wore them to a fair once. My feet got raw by the end of the day, but honestly they didn't hurt half as bad as my nice boots do sometimes. The drugstore stuff might be a foot spa dream compared to the designer garbage.

@seth_singh20 exactly right. Paying more and getting less is a raw deal.
