I told my kid Santa is real and now I'm lying to a 9 year old every December
When my son turned 6 in Cleveland, I decided to keep the Santa thing going instead of telling him the truth like my wife wanted. Now he's 9 and I'm hiding receipts from Target and using a fake handwriting font for gift tags. I keep telling myself it's magic but last week he asked why Santa's wrapping paper is the same as ours. Do I come clean before middle school or just ride this thing into the ground?
