My boss said my quarterly report looked 'fine' in January and I took it as a compliment
I turned in a report 3 months ago that was mostly copy pasted from the one before it, and my boss said the word 'fine' so I figured I was good. Last week I saw the version my coworker turned in and hers had charts, sources, and a summary at the top, which is when it hit me that 'fine' might not mean fine. Do I just quietly step it up next quarter or should I ask him what he really meant back in January?
