PSA: I stopped hating on folding saws after cutting down a 20 foot maple branch

Always thought folding saws were toys. Junk for campers who don't know real tools. Then I had to prune a 20 foot maple branch over my driveway last Saturday. Borrowed my neighbor's Silky Zubat. Clean cut in under 90 seconds. No binding, no kickback. Try one on a real limb before you knock them.

Wait, you're telling me a folding saw went through a 20 foot maple branch in 90 seconds? That's insane. I've been using a bow saw for everything and it takes me way longer, plus it always binds halfway through. A Silky Zubat sounds almost too good to be true. How does a folding saw not just buckle under that kind of weight? I'm genuinely shook right now.

Grabbed a Silky Zubat last fall after my old bow saw just about wore me out on a big limbing job. That first cut through an 8 inch oak branch felt like the saw was doing all the work, tooth pull was that smooth. I was honestly waiting for it to snap or bind up, but it just kept cutting straight and fast. Now I won't touch a bow saw unless I'm cutting through something thicker than my arm.
