Shot myself in the foot paying $400 for a 'premium' resume writer last year

Got ghosted for 3 months straight before my buddy spent 20 minutes rewriting my bullet points for free and I landed an interview the next week, anyone else have way better luck with a fresh pair of eyes than a pro?
