Spent $400 on a fancy standing desk converter and it's collecting dust
I impulse bought this thing last summer thinking it'd fix my back pain and make me more productive. Now it just sits in the corner because I'm too lazy to adjust it mid-day and my chair doesn't fit right underneath. Has anyone else wasted cash on ergonomic gear that ended up being a paperweight?

Nice, you paid $400 for the world's most expensive coat rack. At least mine became a great place to hang my hoodie because raising it feels like a workout I didn't sign up for. Maybe we should start a support group for people with fancy ergonomic paperweights.

Did you try dropping the tension like @michaeltorres said?

The first week with mine I almost returned it because the resistance felt like a joke. But I lowered the tension and now I actually use it every day, standing desk included. Maybe tweak the settings instead of hanging a hoodie on it.
