The $12 library card that fixed my audiobook budget meltdown

I was dropping $30 a month on two audiobook apps and still running out of listens by the 20th. My sister in Cleveland mentioned her library's app had stuff I actually wanted, so I tried mine in Austin. Turns out I can borrow 10 titles a month for free, and the holds list is only about 5 days on popular releases. Has anyone else ditched their paid subscriptions after checking what their local branch offers?
