The 2 AM corn maze confession that made me question my GPS

Last fall I got lost in a 14-acre corn maze near Boise and swore I'd never use GPS again after it kept telling me to go through the stalks. I ended up following a teenage couple who claimed they knew the exit, but we hit a dead end with a scarecrow wearing a sign that said 'Turn Back'. Took us 40 minutes to find the real path, and I've since deleted every navigation app off my phone. Has anyone else had a tech failure that made you ditch the gadget for good?
