Just made my 100th sourdough loaf from the same starter I began in March

I started feeding this starter back in March when I was stuck at home, and yesterday I realized I had baked my 100th loaf from it. It surprised me because I never thought I would stick with it that long, but seeing the number made me proud of how consistent I have been. How long did it take before your starter felt like a reliable part of your baking routine?

I used to think starters were more trouble than they're worth but honestly your post really changed my mind about that. 100 loaves is serious dedication and now I'm kind of rethinking my whole approach to sourdough.

Yeah the "more trouble than they're worth" thing was me too @robin628, but nah it gets way easier.

Yeah but how often are you feeding it now compared to when you started?
