I had a banana bread in the oven at 2am last Tuesday, the toothpick came out clean at 55 minutes, but the middle was still raw batter because I greased the pan with cooking spray and didn't line it with parchment like my mom in Ohio always does, so has anyone else had a loaf pass the toothpick test and still be a gummy mess?
