That $18 artisan salt was a complete waste of money
I bought some fancy pink Himalayan salt from a shop in Nashville thinking it would make my sourdough taste magical, but it just tasted like salt. After three loaves with the same results as my $2 table salt, I realized I fell for the packaging. Anyone else bought expensive ingredients that didn't change a thing?

Admit it, paying extra just for the color was a dumb move.

Did you actually end up hating the color, or is it more about the principle of paying extra for something so minor?

Had a friend who picked this weird olive green for her kitchen renovation because it was the "trendy" option. She ended up repainting within a year because it made the whole room look like a sad avocado.

Trendy is trendy," and sometimes you just gotta admit it looks good even if it costs a bit more.
