Warning: dont trust the toothpick test on banana bread
Pulled my banana bread out of the oven in my little Seattle apartment after the toothpick came out clean. Cut into it 20 minutes later and the middle was basically raw batter. Had to scoop out the gooey center and rebake that part in a ramekin for another 12 minutes. Anyone else ever had the middle trick you like that?
