A bank teller in Tulsa caught something I missed for 9 months

I went in to deposit a check last Friday and the teller noticed my account had a monthly fee I never questioned. She pointed at the printout and said, "Looks like you've been paying for paper statements since March." I had no idea. I switched to eStatements right there and she reversed the charges on the spot. Saved me about $63 total. Has anyone else had a teller or CSR catch something like that when you thought everything was fine?

Was it always like that for you too, where you just trust the bank to handle things? I used to think checking statements line by line was a waste of time, but this kind of thing totally changed my mind. Now I actually skim my monthly charges, even if it feels like a hassle.
