Can we talk about why I stopped using Venmo for rent payments after that $400 mixup in March

I used to think Venmo was fine for collecting rent from my tenants until one guy fat-fingered the amount and it took three weeks and a dozen calls to support to get it sorted, now I only use Zelle or direct deposit because the funds land in 24 hours and there's zero guesswork has anyone else run into this kind of hassle with payment apps?

Wait, did the post say the tenant was paying rent or was it the landlord collecting? I thought the original was about someone sending rent, not receiving it.
