Compared two bank apps for small business and one was way ahead

I run a small landscaping business in Springfield and needed a banking app that could handle daily deposits and payments. I tried Bank of America's app last month and Wells Fargo's this month, and the difference in invoice processing was huge. Wells Fargo's app let me deposit checks by photo in under 30 seconds each time, while BofA kept rejecting my images. Has anyone else found a big gap between these two for business use?

The "image not clear" errors drove me CRAZY too. I ended up switching my whole operation to a credit union just because their app actually worked, no fuss at all. Sometimes the big banks just make stuff harder than it needs to be.

Noticed something nobody brought up yet - how these apps handle mobile check deposit amounts. Wells Fargo capped mine at $2,000 per day for photo deposits with a new account, but BofA bumped me up to $5,000 right away because I had my EIN linked from my LLC paperwork. If you're depositing bigger checks from commercial clients, that cap difference might actually flip which app works better for your landscaping payouts. Just something to double check before you lock in.

Man, I feel your pain on this. I tried both those apps for my own side hustle and the BofA one drove me nuts with the constant "image not clear" errors even when I took the photo in perfect sunlight. Meanwhile the Wells Fargo app just worked every single time without any fuss. It's wild how much a few seconds of difference in check deposit can actually mess up your whole flow when you're trying to get back to work. Glad you found the better option for your business.
