I dropped $80 on a 'smart' wallet that locks with your phone and it bricked itself when my battery died at the grocery store.
I had to leave my full cart in the aisle and walk home because I couldn't pay for anything, so has anyone found a reliable alternative that doesn't require a constant Bluetooth connection?

Trackers still need a phone to work, so they have the same basic problem.
