Finally fixed my offset smoker door seal after 9 months of fighting it
Kept losing heat and couldn't hold steady temp below 275, turns out I just needed a $12 roll of nomex gasket and a half hour with some high-temp RTV. Anyone else deal with a leaky door longer than they want to admit?

Took me a solid 14 months to figure out my charcoal basket wasn't the issue, just a gap you could practically see daylight through. Felt like a real genius when that nomex fixed everything in one cook.

Tbh that's not a bad fix but nomex tape is for the door gasket not for body gaps.
