I finally drove out to that legendary pit stop from the old shows.

Back then, it was all smoke and handwork. Now it's shiny gear, but the brisket still melts.

Legendary is a strong word for a roadside smokehouse. Places always get fancier over the years. If the meat's still good, that's what really counts.

For 'meat's still good,' TRUE, but a GREAT spot masters both meat and mood every time.
