Unpopular opinion: My chat with a pitmaster turned into a sauce disaster

I saw a well known pitmaster at a local fair and went over to say hi. I meant to ask about his rub but instead knocked over a bottle of his special sauce. It went all over my shirt and his table cloth. He just smiled and said it happens more than you think. I learned that even pros deal with messy moments.

Yeah, it's wild how those moments make them seem more REAL. Like, you see they're just people who spill stuff too.

That sauce bottle might cost a fortune, as @sean_stone pointed out. But does spilling it really make a celebrity seem more like us? I don't buy it because they live in a different world where messes are cleaned up by staff. We project our own feelings onto these moments, but it's just a minor accident. Most of the time, they're probably annoyed but hide it for the camera. It's not some big reveal of their true self.

Wait, he said it happens more than you think? How often is this guy replacing his special sauce, how much does that cost? That's not just some store bought ketchup, that stuff is probably like his baby. I'd be crying over a lost bottle, not smiling. You sure he wasn't just being nice while secretly plotting revenge?
