I hit 500 posts on this forum and it felt... empty
Everyone talks about big round numbers like they're a huge achievement, but for me it just highlighted how many of those posts were just noise. The one that actually mattered was post #327, where I finally wrote down the story of my dad fixing our old porch swing. Has anyone else felt a milestone was less about the count and more about one specific thing you managed to save?

Remember hitting 1000 on my old blog and just feeling tired. The only post I ever go back to is a dumb recipe I wrote for my sister.

Heard a podcast say the posts we keep are the ones that feel like notes to ourselves.

But that's exactly why I keep the angry ones... the posts that feel like letters to someone else. They show me how much I've changed. @nancyn69, if I only saved notes to myself, my whole past would just be an echo. The messy public stuff, the arguments I lost, that's the real map. A private note doesn't prove you ever grew past it.
