Just realized I've painted over 2 million square feet of wall in my career so far

I was bored on the job site today and did the math from my old invoices - 2,187,600 square feet since I started my crew 9 years ago. Has anyone else hit a random milestone that made you stop and think?

I actually read something a few months back about how painters in the UK track their mileage like truckers do, and one dude hit 3 million square feet in 12 years. It's wild to think about that kind of number cause it's not like we sit around counting every roller stroke. But when you add up all those ceilings, walls, and trim jobs over time it really puts the wear and tear on your body into perspective. Your 2 million is no joke man, that's a lot of sore shoulders and ladder climbing. Makes me wonder how many gallons that works out to for you, cause I bet it's more than a few semi trucks worth of paint.

@parkerbrown ever calculate the paint smells inhaled over that many gallons? lol

3 million square feet in 12 years? That's roughly 250k a year. @parkerbrown how much of that was spraying vs rolling? I bet the sprayer guys hit higher numbers but breathe in way more atomized paint.
