Rant: I think we're wrong about saving every single photo. I deleted my entire 2019 album last month.

Feel a weird sense of relief just reading that. My camera roll is a hoarder's nest of blurry pictures and receipts. Getting rid of a whole year must have been freeing.

My phone had over 4,000 photos from last year alone. I started by making a folder for the ten pictures I actually wanted to keep, like my niece's birthday. Then I just selected all and deleted the rest in one go. It felt scary for a second, but then it was just gone. You stop missing the clutter after a day or two. Why do we hold onto all that digital stuff anyway?

That "scary for a second" feeling is so real, @lilyp37. I did the same thing with my screenshots folder and it was like a weight lifted. We just get used to having all that junk, you know?
