Update: My grandma's war stories left me stuck on how to save memories
I'm split between writing all her words down so they're not lost or just letting the moment be special without notes, so how do you handle this?

My buddy's dad had this whole story about meeting his favorite baseball player as a kid. He swore he'd never forget a detail. Tried telling it at a party last year and totally blanked on the player's name and what he said. Turns out he never wrote any of it down. Now it's just a blurry memory of being happy at a game.

Ugh, my friend's mom forgot her cookie recipe after saying she'd "just remember it." Maybe grab your phone and hit record next time she talks?
