I finally told my sister the truth about my "great new job" and she just nodded
I've been smiling through every family dinner since March about a promotion that actually means I sit alone in a cubicle doing work I hate. Last Sunday at her kitchen table in Boise I just said it out loud, no joke attached, and she said "yeah, I figured" and poured me more coffee. Anyone else find that the people closest to you already know before you say a word?
