I laughed at the "just breathe" thing for 3 months and now I do it in my truck before every estimate
My wife kept telling me to try this box breathing stuff, 4 counts in, 4 hold, 4 out, and I told her it was a bunch of wellness app nonsense. Then a guy named Ray I sub for in Spokane told me he does it before every client meeting and I tried it one morning before a tense walkthrough. It doesn't fix anything, I still get that tight feeling in my chest when a homeowner starts asking about the timeline, but I stopped snapping at my crew on the drive over. Does anyone else have one of these dumb little tricks they rolled their eyes at first?
