The cashier at the Sunoco in Batavia asked if I was okay and I said yes
I was buying a coffee last Thursday after a rough shift and she looked at me for a second and said, "you look tired, honey, you want the big cup for free?" I smiled and said I was fine like I always do, but I sat in my truck in the lot for 10 minutes after because nobody had asked me that in months. I still think about her asking. Has anyone else had a total stranger catch something the people around you miss?
