Paid $1,800 to move cross country with no job lined up and my first month almost broke me
The moving truck ate $1,800 of my savings before I even had a paycheck, and I slept on an air mattress in Denver for 3 weeks while interviewing. Anyone else move somewhere new with no safety net and have it work out, or did you end up going back home?

Air mattress in Denver for 3 weeks" is honestly a flex, my lower back hurts just picturing it. I moved with barely enough for gas and ate gas station hot dogs for a week, so you're basically royalty compared to me.
