Ran into my old landlord at the grocery store and she apologized for evicting me 3 years ago
She said at the time the building was being sold and she had no choice, but seeing her face turn red in the produce aisle made me wonder if she ever thought about it after I moved out - has anyone else had the person who changed your life reach back out way later?

Aw man, that must've been such an awkward moment for both of you. It's rough when you get forced into a situation like that, and even though she was just doing what she had to, it's still nice that she felt bad enough to say sorry years later. At least you got some closure out of it, even if it came in the middle of grabbing tomatoes.
