Turned down a $15k raise to stay at my current job for a full year now

My old employer in Austin offered me $15k more to come back but I chose the smaller company because they actually let me leave at 5pm and my dog can come to the office. First full year here and I don't regret it once, has anyone else picked a lower paycheck for a better daily life?
