Goat got into the forge, now I check my quench tank twice
Last Saturday I was heating up some leaf springs for a knife project at my place outside Austin, turned my back for maybe 3 minutes to grab a beer, and my neighbor's goat wandered in and dunked its whole head in my oil quench tank. Took me a solid 20 minutes to wash that mess out of its fur with dish soap and a hose, and the goat seemed pretty pleased with itself the whole time. Has anyone else had animals mess with their setup, and what do you do to keep critters out of your work space?

Funny you mention that, a raccoon got into my shed last fall and decided my grinding belts were the perfect scratching post. Took me a week to find all the shredded pieces and the little guy came back twice more before I figured out he was getting in through a loose vent. Now I keep a cheap motion light in there and it seems to do the trick, but goats are a whole different level of determined.
