My old anvil was swaybacked so I bought a new one, and now I miss the swayback
The anvil I learned on had a dip in the face about the size of a dime, so after 2 years of fighting it I drove to a shop in Allentown and dropped $800 on a brand new one with a flat face. The new anvil rings so loud my neighbor came over twice in one week, and I keep reaching for that little dip when I true up a curve. Did your first anvil spoil you for anything that is actually better?
