Spent $400 on a fancy power hammer and wish I had my money back

Bought a used 25lb Little Giant power hammer from a guy in Ohio last spring because everyone said it would save my back and speed up production. It's been nothing but trouble - the clutch slips constantly and I've spent more time wrenching on it than actually forging. Has anyone else regretted a big tool purchase like this or am I just unlucky with this particular machine?

Devil's advocate says you probably just didn't put in the work to learn that old hammer.

Put in the work" is a bit harsh. Some tools just aren't built for everyone, no matter how much time you spend with them.
