I finally measured my desk before buying a monitor arm

Spent $60 on a fancy gas spring arm that looked great in the pictures. Got it home, mounted it, and realized my desk has a weird angle on the back edge so the clamp barely grabs. Now the monitor wobbles every time I type. Anyone else buy something that should work but your specific setup ruined it?

@violaramirez same thing happened to me with a $50 monitor arm. clamp just wouldn't fit my weird desk edge either.
