I finally tried tracking my food for a week and got a totally unexpected result
I spent 7 days logging every single thing I ate in an app, thinking I'd find out I eat too much sugar or fat. Turns out I was actually UNDER eating by about 600 calories a day, which explains why I felt so tired all the time. Has anyone else had a food log surprise them like that?

Ngl I had the exact same thing happen to me. Started tracking and realized I was barely eating enough to fuel a toddler, let alone a grown adult who works out. I started adding in protein shakes and bigger portions of healthy fats like avocado and nuts, and my energy levels came back within a week. The trick was making sure I ate enough before noon because I used to skip breakfast and then crash by 2 PM. Now I prep a decent breakfast with eggs and toast or Greek yogurt with granola, and it keeps me steady all day. It's wild how our bodies just adapt to being starved and we don't even notice until we look at the numbers.

My Fitbit told me I was basically a houseplant with anxiety, burning fewer calories than a fence post but needing way more attention. Glad I'm not the only one who's been starving themselves by accident.

Yeah honestly that happened to me too. I was so focused on cutting out junk that I ended up eating maybe 1500 calories a day and wondering why I felt like garbage. What really helped me was adding a scoop of peanut butter to my morning oatmeal and having a bigger lunch with actual protein. The app didn't lie, I just refused to believe I needed that much food to function. Once I bumped up my calories slowly over a couple weeks the fatigue just melted away.
