Saw a old guy feeding pigeons in the park and it hit me weird

Last Tuesday I was grabbing coffee near Washington Square and this older man sat on a bench with a little bag of breadcrumbs. He wasn't rushing or checking his phone, just sat there tossing crumbs for maybe 20 minutes. I realized I can't remember the last time I did something that simple without any goal or recording it. Has anyone else felt that tiny panic when you catch yourself just being still?
