The 6 second clip that made me question a 10 year habit

I was scrolling last Tuesday and a video popped up of someone testing their phone screen protector with a hammer, I always thought those things were a marketing gimmick honestly. The test was pretty rough, like 20 hits with a steel ball bearing and the screen stayed intact, so I bought the same brand for my cracked phone and it's been a week with zero issues. Has anyone else had a product that looked fake but actually held up when you finally tried it?
