The half-second meme that exposed my 5-year phone habit

Saw a clip of someone taping a cardboard cutout over their fridge to block mindless snacking, and realized I scroll Reddit exactly like that. Has anyone else caught themselves doing the same swipe pattern without even seeing the post?

The muscle memory is REAL, but here's the twist: that half-second is actually your brain's way of CHECKING for something new, not reading it. You're basically training yourself to crave the swipe itself, not the content, which is why the posts blur together after a while.
