Vent: Tried that 10 minute morning stretch routine and it actually made a dent in my back pain
I've been pretty skeptical about those viral wellness routines for years, but after sitting at my desk for 8 hours straight, my lower back was just done. A coworker at my accounting firm forced me to try this simple 10 minute stretch video she found on YouTube last Tuesday. After three days I could actually bend over to tie my shoes without groaning. Has anyone else had a random online fix actually work for something you thought was permanent?

That reminds me of something my wife discovered last winter. She had awful shoulder pain from years of hunching over her laptop, and one day she found a 5 minute video about rolling out your shoulders with a tennis ball against a wall. She did it every morning for a week and the knot she'd had for months just melted away. Funny how something so simple can fix what we thought was just part of getting older.

Glad her shoulder got better, that kind of pain is rough.

@violaramirez is right, a tennis ball against the wall fixed my shoulder knot too.
