Gen Con on Saturday vs Sunday: which side are you on?

I went to Gen Con last year and had this big debate with my group about whether Saturday or Sunday is the better day to go. Saturday has all the energy, the big crowds, the hype for new releases like Dune Imperium Uprising. You can feel the excitement in the air and everyone is fired up to trade and play. But Sunday is calmer, vendors are cutting deals to clear stock, and you can actually demo games without waiting 45 minutes for a table. I snagged a copy of Earth for $30 off on Sunday because a booth just wanted to pack up. One friend swears Saturday is the only real day, another says Sunday is where the bargains are. What do you all think, is the big Saturday vibe worth it or do you save your cash and go Sunday?

I mean, I went on Saturday and spent 45 minutes in line to demo a game that was basically just stacking wooden cubes, so Sunday sounds like the real pro move here.
