Tbh organizing by player count sounds like the easiest way to do it.

Just sort them by how much fun they are at each count.

Wait, but what about games that work at a bunch of different counts? Like a box says 2-5 players. Do you put it in the 2-player section, or the 5-player one? That system always leaves me digging through every shelf anyway.
