My D&D group's dice tower collapsed mid-roll at a con in Indianapolis

I was at Gen Con last weekend demoing my custom dice tower and the whole thing just tipped over when someone tossed a d20 too hard. The tower was made from foam board and I used cheap glue, so the base separated from the middle section. I had to spend 20 minutes at a hobby booth buying proper wood glue and a clamp to fix it for the next demo. Has anyone else had a craft project fall apart at the worst possible time?

Guess the dice gods wanted to test your craftsmanship along with your dice rolls. At least you got a solid fix out of the disaster, right?

Did you try a quick sanding like @violaramirez probably would?

Wait those dice pictures show a hairline crack around the 20 face and I almost dropped my coffee when I zoomed in. That looks like the kind of crack that spreads if you even think about sanding it wrong. Are we sure this is even the same set from the original post or did they swap in a backup? Ive seen people try to fix dice with superglue and baking soda and it always ends up looking like a miniature crime scene.
