The 2-inch die I needed hidden in a $9 thrift store bin
I spent a full Saturday morning hunting for a 35mm round die for my punch kit, checked four craft stores and two hardware shops in Portland with no luck. On a whim I dug through a dusty bin at a Goodwill and there it was, stamped but usable, sitting between a broken spatula and a dog toy. That was after 6 hours total, and I'm still not sure if I should laugh or cry about it. Has anyone else found weirdly specific game-making tools in unexpected places?
