Took me 4 hours to figure out why my board game inserts weren't fitting right
I spent all night trying to jam a custom insert into a box that was clearly too small, only to find out I'd been using the wrong expansion's dimensions the whole time. Has anyone else spent way too long on a storage problem that should have been a 10 minute fix?

That's honestly a perfect real life example of how we overcomplicate stuff all the time. We assume it's some complex problem when really we just missed a simple step at the start. Happens with everything from assembling furniture to making dinner.

Three minutes of prep before starting dinner has saved me more headache than any expensive kitchen gadget ever did. How do you figure out whether the missing step is at the very start or somewhere in the middle of a job?
