Took me 5 years to realize I was shuffling my deck wrong at game night

I always mashed the two halves together with the cards facing each other, and last week my buddy watched me do it and said 'uh, you're bending those cards pretty bad.' Has anyone else been doing something dumb for way too long without noticing?

Cards get a little wear, not exactly life changing stuff lol.

Yeah it's honestly nothing to stress over. A little scuff here and there just adds some character anyway.
