Tried a cheap flux-core wire from Harbor Freight on a 1/2 inch plate job
Burned through three spools in two hours because it kept jamming and spattering, so I learned the hard way that saving $15 on wire costs you double in time and cleanup, has anyone else had a brand they swear by that doesn't break the bank?

I mean, maybe it's just me but that brand is basically rebadged welding wire.

What's the actual wire chemistry on those spools, @oliverhernandez? Is it even matching the specs they claim, or are we just trusting the sticker?
