Warning: don't do a hydro test with the plant manager standing right behind you
A couple years back at a pulp mill in Bogalusa I had a 30 minute hydro window, the plant manager walked up mid test to chat, and I turned the relief valve the wrong way because I was talking, so now I do every test with nobody inside the barricade tape, and does anyone else have a hard rule about who gets to stand near the gauge during a hydro?
