Dropped $60 on a good bone folder.

Bought the cheap one first and it flaked on me after ten books, the pricier teflon one glides way better now though, anyone else make that mistake?

Isn't that always how it goes with cheap tools though?

And totally feel you on that, @the_wendy. I grabbed a cheap utility knife from the dollar store once and the blade wobbled so bad it tore my paper instead of cutting it. I was so frustrated I just set the whole project aside for a week. It's like you learn the hard way that sometimes paying a little extra saves your sanity in the long run.

Did you start with the cheap one too? My buddy Jim bought a cheap bone folder from a craft store and it literally cracked in half on his third book. He was so mad he just taped it back together and kept using it until the tape gave out. Now he swears by the expensive plastic ones and won't touch anything else.
