My neighbor's 1920s repair manual went from fine to dust in under a year

It was on a shelf in his garage workshop, and the humidity changes just ate the cheap acidic paper. The text block is basically brown confetti now. Anyone else dealt with saving a book after the paper's already started to crumble?

Yeah that stuff gets everywhere. Had a friend use brown packing paper for a party once and it looked like a yard full of dead leaves for weeks. Honestly just use a leaf blower if you can, way faster than trying to rake it all up. The smaller bits will still stick in the grass though, good luck with that.

My cousin used gold and brown confetti for her fall wedding last year. It actually looked really nice mixed in with the real leaves on the ground, kind of a shimmery effect. I don't think it's brutal at all if it fits the theme.
